Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR®)

has helped thousands of clients haunted by abuse histories or recent traumatic events. EMDR is the treatment of choice for treating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and is a well-researched and evidence-based treatment for many other trauma-related issues.

EMDR is an extensively researched effective psychotherapy method for reprocessing disturbing memories/events whether they be:

  • Extreme and outwardly obvious such as war/first responder experiences, sexual, physical or emotional abuse, natural disasters OR
  • Inward disturbing events /memories/experiences such as grief and loss, panic attacks, phobias, insecurities that cause one to freeze up, betrayal, bullying, lack of nurturing/protection in a family of origin, plus multiple others OR
  • Current events such as a car wreck, medical trauma, anxiety that is incapacitating, witnessing a traumatic event, and much more.

I specialize in EMDR therapy and would love to invite you to discuss with me how this treatment would help in your healing journey. Please check out the page with testimonies of clients who have experienced EMDR and shared their feelings about the outcome.
